United Way’s 80th Annual Meeting Sells-Out. Event to Include Announcement about Important Community Project
Boise, Idaho—United Way of Treasure Valley (UWTV) has announced that its 80th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd from 7:30-9:00am at the Grove Hotel is sold-out. More than 350 people are expected to attend the event that will include an announcement about a major community project United Way has been instrumental in funding and developing. Boise Mayor Dave Bieter is scheduled to make the announcement during the breakfast event.
Other event highlights include keynote speaker, Heather McLeod Grant, a graduate of Harvard and Stanford Universities and a published author, speaker, advisor, and consultant to high-impact organizations. Ms. Grant is the co-author of the new, best-selling book Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits, which was recently named “Book of the Year” by the Economist. The book reveals what it takes to truly change the world and shares the stories of 12 powerful organizations.
United Way of Treasure Valley’s 80th annual meeting is being sponsored by Albertsons/SUPERVALU. Boise State Radio is also a media sponsor of the event.
