Tates Rents to open new Nampa store and help the community in the process

Boise, Idaho – Tates Rents, Idaho’s largest rental company, will open it’s new Nampa store this Thursday, April 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with a Grand Opening Party and ribbon-cutting ceremony with Nampa Mayor Tom Dale. As part of the celebration, Tates which has been a Treasure Valley landmark for more than 60-years, is donating $2,500 back to the community to support the work of United Way in Canyon County. Tates has also announced it will donate an additional 10% of all April rentals at their new Nampa store to United Way of Treasure Valley.

“We are excited to serve South Nampa with a new equipment rental store,” said Carl Arriola, CEO of Tates Rents. “We believe very strongly in being an active supporter in the communities in which we operate. We also encourage our employees to be involved in their local community by volunteering their time. We know this donation to United Way will support many of the critical programs and agencies in Canyon County with both financial resources and other resources to get important projects done and make a difference.”

“This isn’t the first time Tates Rents has stepped-up to help our community,” said Sally Zive, President and CEO of United Way of Treasure Valley. “Tates Rents is a community-oriented organization and is a strong partner with United Way in improving lives right here in our own back yard. Last weekend, they helped 70 Treasure Valley high school students develop a vacant lot in Nampa as a sponsor of United Way’s Break Through at the Original Gangster’s Academy, alternative spring break project. We’re grateful to Tates Rents for all their support.”

Along with the donation and ribbon-cutting, Thursday’s Grand Opening events will include free hot dogs, refreshments, drawings for BSU football tickets and other Bronco gear, and even a free pair of Tates work gloves for all guests, perfect for those upcoming spring-time yard projects. Tates Rents new Nampa store is located at 2803 12th Ave. Road in Nampa, two blocks south of Wal-Mart, next to the Les Schwab Tire Center.
