United Way of Treasure Valley announces staff changes
Boise, Idaho – United Way of Treasure Valley is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Jones, to its staff. As the new Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Manager, Jones is responsible for directing all efforts in the planning and execution of the annual CFC campaign for Southwest Idaho’s 11,000 federal employees. The annual campaign raises over $500,000 for charities. Jones has worked as an independent Public Relations consultant since 2000, and spent 12 years as a public affairs specialist and officer for the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management in Boise and Washington, D.C.
United Way is also pleased to announce that Melissa Nickell is the new Director of Community Impact Investments. Nickell is responsible for planning and organizing United Way’s community investment work, which includes volunteer coordination and communication with United Way’s partner agencies and programs. For the past two years, Nickell has been United Way’s Community Impact Coordinator and Individual Development Account Program Manager. This year, United Way awarded $1.65 million in Community Impact Grants to 50 programs at 32 local agencies.
Susan Saad has been promoted to the position of Donor Relations and Leadership Giving Director for United Way. She will collaborate with staff and volunteers to implement year-round stewardship strategies for United Way donors and manage communications with existing and potential leadership givers. Prior to her new role, Saad was the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Manager for the past 3 years. She also has more than 15 years experience managing large-scale events.
