Tickets are now available for BowlFest 2010 – “The Ultimate Tailgate.” United Way of Treasure Valley has been selected to be a recipient of the funds raised at this college football extravaganza.
BowlFest, “The Ultimate Tailgate” will be held on Saturday, September 18th at Crane Creek Country Club, and will include a wide variety of events and activities for college football fans including:
- Multiple college football games (including BSU/Wyoming) on big-screen TVs
- Four mouth watering food stations
- Free beer and wine
- Football-themed vodka bar
- Silent and live auctions
- Indoor/Outdoor event – casual attire
United Way of Treasure Valley could receive as much as $15,000 in funds from this event. The money will fund a new partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County, Boys & Girls Club of Nampa, Treasure Valley Family YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho, and Girl Scouts Silver Sage Council to create a collaborative effort in increasing awareness around youth mentoring programs and services.
